Getting Started

You can access virtual visits from Montana Pediatrics using any device with a microphone and camera – like your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer.

Creating an Account

The account creation process is quick and easy. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your profile as the parent/guardian and then easily add your children to the account. You can also connect your kiddos with other guardians who are eligible to seek care, too!

Starting an On-demand Visit

Tap “Get Care,” tell us a bit about what’s going on, and you’ll be connected with a Montana Pediatrics provider — usually in under 10 minutes.

Payment, Insurance & Financial Assistance

At Montana Pediatrics, we believe every family should be able to access care for their child without having to worry about cost.

Insurance: we work with all insurance plans.
Kids covered by Medicaid: always $0.
Cash pay: always $75.

Financial assistance is available for any family, regardless of the reason.

When are you open?

Our goal is to make sure that families with medical concerns for their children are never alone in Montana.

We are available:
Monday – Friday Daytime: 7:30am to 6:00pm (Visit availability during daytime may vary as we continue expanding care, we appreciate your patience)
Monday – Friday Overnight: 6:00pm to 7:30am
Saturday – Sunday: 24 Hours
All major holidays: 24 Hours

Who can use Montana Pediatrics’ On-Demand Care?

Montana Pediatrics is available to care for newborns, children, teens, and young adults ages 0-21 who are physically located in Montana. Our care team is made up of Montana-licensed pediatric providers who understand the communities, resources, and realities of caring for kids across our state. If you are traveling or temporarily outside of Montana, we may not be able to provide care during that time due to the healthcare licensing requirements of the state you’re in. However, our providers can help determine the best course of care for you and your family based on your location.

Can I use Montana Pediatrics while outside of Montana?

Unfortunately, no — While we’d love to be able to care for your family no matter where you’re exploring, federal licensure requirements mean we’re only able to care for families while they’re physically located in Montana. If you do happen to try to connect with us while out of state, our providers can help guide you to the best choice for care based on where you are.

What kind of care should I use Montana Pediatrics for?

If your child is experiencing a true medical emergency, please call 911. Otherwise, a Montana Pediatrics on-demand visit is the perfect place to be for when you’re concerned about your child’s health. We see a wide range of cases every day, including things like stomachaches, colds, fevers, sore throats, pink eye, rashes, bug bites, sprains, scratches, head injuries, and more!
