Getting Started

You can access virtual visits from Montana Pediatrics using your desktop, laptop, or smartphone, but make sure your device has a camera and microphone.

These virtual visits are made possible through our technology partner, Refyne Connected Care. When you start a virtual visit, you’ll be redirected to their website. Before you can meet with one of our pediatric providers, you’ll need to create a free account with Refyne Connected Care. Don’t worry, no credit card is required.

The first step in getting care for your child is to create a free account. After creating an account, you’ll then need to add your child as a patient under your account. The account creation process is straightforward. We recommend doing this before your child needs an examination.

Now you’re ready to initiate a virtual visit by click any orange button labeled “Get Care Now” or “Start a Request for a Visit”. When you initiate a virtual visit, you’ll be placed in virtual waiting room. Unlike a normal waiting room, it’s germ free and the wait usually will be for a no more than 5 mins.

We’re committed to making healthcare easy for you. After your visit, there’s hardly anything left for you to do. Our providers will circle back with your child’s primary care physician and share visit notes. If necessary, you’ll just need to pick up any prescriptions.

Montana Pediatrics will work with insurance plans in the state of Montana as well as Medicaid, and your out-of-pocket costs will be dependent on your specific plan.

What kind of care should I use Montana Pediatrics for?

If your child is experiencing a true medical emergency, please call 911. Otherwise, a Montana Pediatrics on-demand visit is the perfect place to be for when you’re concerned about your child’s health. We see a wide range of cases every day, including things like stomachaches, colds, fevers, sore throats, pink eye, rashes, bug bites, sprains, scratches, head injuries, and more!
