Chelsea Bodnar MD, MPhil, FAAP

CEO

Chelsea is a Montanan, a mom, a wife, and a board-certified clinical pediatrician and informaticist. Her career has been fueled by a belief that in service to the youngest members of our community, we can and must always strive to do better. She is a relentless optimist and unrelenting advocate for the power of collaboration. The rest of her time is spent in her hometown of Missoula with her husband and three kiddos.

April is a Montanan and an operational healthcare leader. As a motivated and passionate professional with a tenacity for innovation and quality care, her career focus has been to improve healthcare access to all patients whilst leveraging technology, relationships, and improvement in logistical footprints across Montana. April and her three amazing children spend their spare time enjoying adventure all around Montana, but she is especially attracted to the Flathead and Bitterroot Valleys.

Kate is passionate about finding solutions to community challenges by bringing traditionally siloed organizations and individuals together to work collaboratively. Paired with her love and experience building impactful brands, Kate has nearly a decade of experience working with community organizations and a track record of successful grassroots development of education and workforce solutions. She loves the variety that Montana has to offer, but particularly loves living in Northwest Montana where she’s active almost every evening and weekend with skiing, hiking, rafting, or just spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Alison Curfman

Alison Curfman MD, MBA

Medical Director of Complex Care Management

Alison is recognized for her pragmatic approach to healthcare innovation, particularly in designing comprehensive care models for pediatric patients with complex medical needs. With a background as a pediatric emergency physician, Dr. Curfman has spearheaded transformative programs across various health systems. Notably, she founded Imagine Pediatrics, introducing groundbreaking virtual-first population health models. In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Curfman played a pivotal role in securing grant funding for Montana Pediatrics to advance complex care initiatives and is currently serving as the medical director for our complex care program. She continues to champion accessible, high-quality care for all pediatric patients.

Clinical Operations & Program Manager

Jacqueline is a healthcare professional and has been thankful to call Montana home for over 20 years. With a commitment to coordinating, directing, and supporting the internal programs of Montana Pediatrics to enhance workflow efficiency, Jacqueline brings over 12 years’ experience in health care with a focused background in population health management and quality improvement initiatives, technology implementations, and supporting providers needs while fostering collaborative relationships for health care innovations and partnerships across the state of Montana. Jacqueline and her husband love to travel to visit their 3 grown children who have spread themselves across the US and spend their time rafting and fly fishing in the amazing rivers and creeks across the state and enjoying all the beauty of nature that Montana has to offer.

Melissa has been working with families across Montana for most of her professional career. Prior to joining Montana Pediatrics, Melissa worked in several early childhood professional positions. In 2007, she became a Family Support Specialist and found a passion for working with parents who had children with developmental delays and disabilities. It was during this time that she fell wildly in love with supporting parents and their children. Over time, this love led to her pursuit of a Master’s degree in Social Work and now helping parents bring more fun and ease into their parenting is her passion. When Melissa is not working she can be found cooking, dancing, or connecting with her family and friends.

With an eye for detail and a dedication to not just leaving the world better than you found it, but actively working to improve it, she thrives in the nonprofit healthcare sector where she brings different perspectives to the acquisition and execution of opportunities that better the experience of accessing care for Montana families. While she was raised in Northern Nevada, she now calls Montana home and can be found enjoying all the state has to offer through hiking, camping, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kristin Melli

Kristin is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a specialty in primary care. As a clinician, she is humbled by being invited into situations where children are experiencing illness, injury, trauma, and stress (and wellness, too!) and seeks to be a compassionate, reliable partner in the care of every child she meets. She believes in the inherent value in each human life and as such, finds joy in addressing disparities that prevent some children from accessing quality healthcare. She lives in Kalispell with her husband and 3 kids and enjoys bike rides, downhill skiing, novels, bribing her children to enjoy hiking and gardening with her, and is very interested in healthy soil and how it relates to human health.

She has dual degrees in Nursing and Sociology and brings over 20 years of experience in Pediatric-specific practice. Her passion for breaking down barriers to quality care for families keeps her focused on expanding services at the healthcare-education nexus and committing time and resources to ensuring all children can thrive. Beyond her work, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and embarking on adventures with her dog.
