Pediatric Mental & Behavioral Health

Alongside rural health clinics and tribal health programs, we are working to provide the highest level of mental and behavioral health care for children to facilitate connections between specialized mental healthcare providers, primary care physicians, and families.

Our current pilot with the communities on the Hi-Line and the Fort Peck Reservation includes the following programs:

Brief Therapy

Addresses a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, medication adherence, and behavioral changes over up to 8 weeks of therapy or while long-term providers are established.

Psychiatric Care

Begins with a psychiatric evaluation and medication management with a referral from a Primary Care Physician while working closely with the child and their family.

Interprofessional Consultations

Addresses any questions or concerns Primary Care Physicians may have regarding their patients’ mental health care, including treatment planning and medication consultation.
